Then back to work! 

I hate finals.

I have to have them for studying, damn things…..anybody have super awesome ones the recommend? 

I can’t believe this week is actually here. Graduation is in 3 weeks! It’s so so so cheesy, but time really does fly. 

(I can’t wait!!!!)

Be sooo jealous.

Work on my paper that’s due Tuesday?? Or be a Senior and procrastinate “because it’s a holiday”.

Hmmmmmm.

My school always has this thing in the Spring called Springfest. Our Student Association plans an entire week of ridiculously fun activities. This year there was a Carnival, obstacle courses and a rock wall, a dry paint fight, and then on Thursday there is always a concert. Since SA has a shit ton of money to spend, the band is always pretty good. We have had Cross Canadian Ragweed, Sara Barielles, and last year was Jacks Mannequin. Well this year was Girl Talk. So we basically had a giant rave. Everyone wore colored tutus and neon. Well, my friends and I got there and we were standing by the stage looking for some other people and this woman came up and said “Hey you guys want to dance on stage?” So a big group of my friends got to dance on stage behind Girl Talk for 2 hours! It was sooooo much fun!!

So I realize I haven’t posted in a while. We had Spring Break and getting back into the swing of things so I fell behind a little. So, not that many of you care, but I thought I would give an update.

• Spring Break was great! We went to Breckenridge, Colorado. I have been skiing several times, but never there and I thought it was nice. The town was SO adorable. All of the shops were painted in dollhouse colors and they had Christmas lights up year round apparently. So cute. I stayed in a Cabin with 7 of my friends which was crazy at times I will admit. For example, one morning I woke up to the smell of bacon (yummy right?) to find one of the guys cooking breakfast for everyone. That sounds all great and everything, until he burned the bacon and ruined 6 eggs. Needless to say, we weren’t very happy with him. But all in all I had a great last Spring Break with some of my best friends! Here is a picture. 

• So imagine this. It’s the last Sunday of Spring Break, right before school starts again. My roommate and myself are relaxing, recuperating, watching tv, just having a lazy Sunday afternoon. So my roommate (the one in the red jacket) gets up to go get a drink or something from the kitchen. I’m sitting on the couch with my laptop and my pup when she screams. Like loud crazy screams. Now, I don’t know how our brains do this, but in the split second between her screaming and then telling my why she is screaming, I think “O she probably saw a spider or one of those mutant crickets we have (check it here), nothing to worry about.” So after the split second of me thinking this, she yells “I JUST SAW A MOUSE!” I, who am already on an elevated surface, proceed to jump up an hurtle myself to the other side of the couch while Mich jumps onto the ledge of the fireplace. Then she sees the mouse run around the corner into the kitchen and the rest of the house aka our bedrooms. So she decides to call her boyfriend and he (after going to Sonic) comes by our house with mouse traps and sets them all over the house. Obviously, I didn’t sleep very well that night. But, and sorry for any mice lovers, after a day or so we caught it.

• I have my last college greek dance this Saturday. It’s our Semi Formal and it is always in honor of the Seniors. It is also always themed, and this year is Famous Couples. Unfortunately, no one goes as outrageous as the scene in Never Been Kissed, although that would be awesome. most people do whatever is convenient or feasible. But, my date and I decided to be Popeye and Olive Oyl. I’m working on my costume now, I will try and post a picture later of how it turned out. She wears her hair really really weird, so I don’t know if that will happen. Some of my friends are doing Salt and Pepper, and Sully and Boo from Monster’s Inc.

• I GRADUATE IN 37 DAYS PEOPLE. How is this possible?

So so so so surreal. I can’t believe I graduate college in less than 2 months!
